Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelics Research (3-5 June, 2016)

The Beckley Foundation are honoured to be Gold Sponsors of the Interdisciplinary Conference on Psychedelics Research 2016, a scientific congress on psychedelics organised by the OPEN Foundation.

During this three-day event in Amsterdam, more than fifty international and national researchers from a wide range of academic disciplines will present their latest results and advances in scientific research on psychedelics such as LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, ayahuasca, iboga and ketamine.

Special attention will be paid to novel approaches in psychiatry, with clinical studies looking into new treatments for mental disorders such as PTSD, depression, anxiety and addiction.

Amanda Feilding will be speaking on the most recent research undertaken by the Beckley Foundation’s Scientific Programme, including collaborations studying ayahuasca, LSD and the efficacy of psychedelics as a means of treating addiction. Other speakers include Lead Investigator of the Beckley/Imperial Research Programme Robin Carhart-Harris, Alicia Danforth, Torsten Passie, William A. Richards and Bia Labate.
