Collaboration with Prof Thilo Hinterberger

This collaboration examined meditation and its relationship to neuroscience, mindfulness, and personal experiences. The study used EEG to measure brain activity (‘brain waves’), and assessed relationships to exceptional spiritual and mystical experiences. We found a relationship between brain activity and mindfulness, meditation experience, and exceptional and spiritual experiences, further strengthening the evidence for a mind-brain connection.
