DMT Brain Imaging Study

The Beckley/Imperial Research Programme is currently conducting a brain imaging study investigating the effects of DMT on human brain activity. Using both fMRI and electroencephalography (EEG), the study authors aim to reveal the neural correlates behind the hallucinogenic effects of DMT, and, among other things, hope to discover the neurobiology behind the widely reported phenomenon of “entities” often experienced by users of DMT.
